
The Choir of Holy Trinity Church will be preforming Henry Purcell’s treasured Funeral Sentences, composed for Queen Mary II, including the famous motet Thou Knowest Lord, which was sung at the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II.
The choir will also preform well known anthems and solos by Purcell, accompanied by the Cabinet of Curiosities, a Stratford based string quartet.
Tickets £10 (£5 for under 16’s)
Tickets include a glass of wine or soft drink; tickets will be available on the door only.
Proceeds from the concert will help fund the choir’s summer tour to St. Davids Cathedral.
