This full day event brings together local and national voices to explore river health, pollution, adaptation and cross-party collaboration for the River Avon and its local tributaries. It creates space and opportunity for all to share and reflect on the health of local rivers, the causes and impacts of pollution, and the effects of climate change and the need for adaptation and resilience. It identifies actions we can all take to restore water in Nature and strengthen communities to work together more collaboratively.

Through a series of engaging panel discussions, we will explore:
1. Testing the waters: uncovering hidden pollutants
2. From land to water: how river systems respond
3. Water, rivers and climate change: adaptation and resilience
4. Cross-party collaboration: hearing from our elected representatives.

This is a free day event, but pre-registration is required.

In the evening, we will also screen the film “Jo in the water” from 6pm, followed by a Q&A with the film Director Pip Piper and other guests. See separate event to book tickets.
