About the business
The Dirty Duck in Stratford-upon-Avon was originally three buildings in the 15th century before joining together and becoming one pub in the 1700s. The family-friendly spot is now Grade II listed and offers charm, character, and unbeatable waterside views of the River Avon. Once known as the Black Swan, it has since become The Dirty Duck - yet still displays both names and is the only pub in England registered under two monikers. With The Royal Shakespeare Theatre less than a 5-minute walk away, we're a renowned thespian hotspot - with past customers including Laurence Olivier, Richard Attenborough and Judi Dench. Our bar is on hand to serve up a tasty drink or two, while our pub food menu boasts classic dishes, seasonal joys and indulgent desserts for a sweet finish
