The Mission Planet is a community organisation rooted in Stratford-upon-Avon. We bring local people together through weekly run clubs, martial arts seminars, personal development events, and community challenges, all built around one belief: ordinary people, choosing to act, can create extraordinary change.
We run sessions every week across running and martial arts, open to all abilities and backgrounds. We also host our Be The Change talk series, bringing inspiring speakers into Stratford to connect, motivate, and challenge the community. Our wider work includes major fundraising events, including a 52k ultra marathon from Stratford to Birmingham Children's Hospital, run last month by members of our run club with the support of Stratford's new Mayor.
We are not a gym, a club with a membership fee, or a formal fitness programme. We are a growing community of people in Stratford who show up for each other and for the town.
